House Name used primarily by Michael Moorcock for book reviews and stories in New Worlds (and for one independent collection of stories), and occasionally by others for book reviews. Eventually Moorcock reported Colvin's death in a spoof obituary (January 1970 New Worlds) as by William Barclay. Moorcock has also written at least one story as Warwick Colvin Jr, who is identified as James Colvin's nephew. [JC]
