(?   -    ) UK poet and author, whose first books were poetry collections beginning with Breaking the Surface (coll 2017 chap). She is of sf interest for her first novel, My Name Is Monster (2019), set in a Near Future England devastated by Climate Change and Pandemic illnesses. The two first-person protagonists describe themselves as Monsters: one because of a profound sociopathic estrangement which protects her from the new world; the other because he is initially mute and suffers from Amnesia. Their coming together hints abstractly – the tale is unspecific about much that may be happening, or the landscapes traversed – at an Adam and Eve outcome (see Clichés). [JC]
