(1938-2010) US screenwriter and author who scripted a 1978 episode of The Bionic Woman (1976-1978) and continued his Television career with scripts for Jason of Star Command (1978-1980), the animated Flash Gordon (1979-1980) and many more. He is the author of several novel Ties set in the Star Trek universe and aimed at a Young Adult audience, including Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Pet (1994) and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Cardassian Imps (1996), both with Mel Gilden; and the Cybersurfers sequence, also with Mel Gilden, beginning with Cybersurfers: Pirates on the Internet (1996). The tales are fairly strictly tied to concepts of the Computer and of Cyberspace that events have dealt with fairly cruelly. [JC]
