In this sf adventure series Harry Broderick (Griffith) is a wealthy scrap-metal dealer who decides to build his own Spaceship and go to the Moon to retrieve various pieces of equipment left behind by the Apollo lunar flights. Putting together a team to help him, comprising an ex-astronaut, a fuel expert and others, he succeeds in this venture. Later episodes have primarily adventure-oriented plots such as obtaining diamonds from the interior of an active volcano, or steering a huge iceberg to a Middle Eastern nation where it will become a water supply. Some episodes were reportedly left unaired when the series was cancelled. [GSt]
