(1979- ) UK barrister and author whose work to date consists almost exclusively of contributions to his Lazarus Universe Military SF sequences. In the first of these, the Lazarus War series beginning with The Lazarus War: Artefact (2015), the chief ongoing protagonist Captain Conrad Harris of the Simulant Operations Programme undergoes repeated deaths leading his team in suicide missions over various locations across the galaxy where Homo sapiens is in conflict with an Alien civilization. The second of these, the Eternity War series beginning with The Eternity War: Pariah (2017) continues the action with a substantially different cast. Advanced Weapons are described in detail; although there is a pervading sense that the War is endless, a possible climax approaches in The Lazarus War: Origins (2016) with the discovery of a lost Starship behind enemy lines containing ancient Alien Technology.
