Pseudonym of US author Christine I Smith Lowentrout (1951-    ), much of whose work has been fantasy, and much of her production under other pseudonyms, usually for the production of Ties. As Robyn Tallis, she wrote four Planet Builders Ties: Rebel from Alphorion (1989), Visions from the Sea (1989), Giants of Elenna (1989) and Fire in the Sky (1989); as Nicholas Adams, she wrote a Horror High tie, Final Curtain (1991); she has written under yet other names as well. The large Sartorias-deles group of connected subseries comprises a variety of Young Adult Fantasy tales and is not listed below. With Dave Trowbridge (1950-    ), who also edits a computer trade magazine, she has written the Exordium sequence, comprising Phoenix in Flight (1993), Ruler of Naught (1993), A Prison Unsought (1994), The Rifter's Covenant (1995) and The Thrones of Kronos (1996), is Space Opera complicated through the depiction of a complex ruling family and its offshoots in Planetary Romance fashion. She has collaborated on late works co-signed by Andre Norton [for details see Checklist below]. [JC]
