(?   -    ) US editor of two Libertarian SF anthologies, Give Me Liberty (anth 2003) and Visions of Liberty (anth 2004), both with Martin H Greenberg; the latter includes Tier's one recorded genre story, "Renegade". These two volumes jointly received a special Prometheus Award –only rarely given for anthologies – in 2005, and were assembled as Freedom! (omni 2006). [DRL]
