Pseudonym of French/American author born Pauline Celestine Elisa Touchemolin (1868-1950), daughter of the painter Alfred Touchemolin (1829-1907), resident in the UK from around 1890; she was publishing stories in magazines as early as 1899, and later served as editor of Christian Theosophist.
