The name under which Turkish-UK musician Adem Ilhan (?early 1980s- ) releases his music. Adem's most evidently sf album is Love and Other Planets (2006); a gently pleasant if perhaps underpowered set of folk-electronic musings on cosmic love and outer space, articulating the belief that "we are not alone". Viereck, George S
(1884-1962) German-born author, in US from 1896, naturalized 1910; he was a close friend of Nicola Tesla. Though well known between the Wars as an apologist for defeated Germany, as in The Kaiser on Trial (1937), his views on Hitler were considerably more guarded, though deeply offensive in their anti-semitism. (1915-2000) US author of Finnish descent, most of whose earlier fiction was fantasy rather than sf; occasionally he wrote as E Theodore Pine (once with Henry L Hasse), though only in magazines.
