Pseudonym of UK author and civil engineer George Barclay Tait (1909-1991), who wrote some stories for Science Fantasy, beginning with "Enemy in their Midst" in 1952, and the Jacko series – mostly for New Worlds, beginning with "Only an Echo" (1954 New Worlds #22) and ending with "The Thing in Common" (August 1956 New Worlds).
