Hay, Jacob

(1920-1976) US author whose sf novel, Autopsy for a Cosmonaut (1969; vt Death of a Cosmonaut 1970), with John M Keshishian, describes a Near-Future space crisis in which NASA attempts a space rendezvous with a Soviet satellite suspected of harbouring a nuclear warhead. [JC]
