Langton, Sarah Anne

(?   -    ) UK artist and graphic designer, long active as the main designer for the Forbidden Planet specialist store, in which capacity she has worked on branded projects for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, the Star Wars franchise and numerous others.

Langton designed the iconic "Pickwick the dodo" logo for Hodder & Stoughton's genre imprint, Hodderscape, and she provided covers and artwork for the British Fantasy Society magazine Horizon, for the Dystopian Computer Role Playing Game Floor 13, and for several early Anthologies published by the specialist press Jurassic London.

Langton is known for her long association with Lavie Tidhar. She won a BSFA Award for best artwork for her cover of Tidhar's Central Station (2016). Langton was also nominated for a BSFA Award for her cover of Tidhar's Unholy Land (2018). The two have collaborated on Alternate History film posters depicting retro and retro-futuristic worlds, often incorporating original text by Tidhar. [LTi]
