Menville, Douglas

(1935-    ) US author and editor. He edited Forgotten Fantasy 1970-1971 and, with R Reginald (whom see for further details), was advisory editor of the various Arno Press reprint book series; he and Reginald have also collaborated on several books and Anthologies. Solo, Menville has written A Historical and Critical Survey of the Science Fiction Film (1975); with Reginald and Mary Wickizer Burgess he wrote Futurevisions: The New Golden Age of the Science Fiction Film (1985). He also compiled The Work of Ross Rocklynne: An Annotated Bibliography & Guide (1989 chap). [PN]
