Ouellette, Pierre

(1945-    ) US author of The Deus Machine (1994), in which the eponymous super-Computer, capable of evolving into an AI, needs either to be protected or destroyed as the tale progresses into realms of Horror in SF; The Third Pandemic (1996), set in the Near Future, follows the course of a Pandemic that may be unstoppable.
