Peters, Ludovic

Pseudonym of German-born UK screenwriter and author Peter Brent (1931-1984), in the UK from an early age; author of one Avengers episode, "The Secrets Broker" (1 February 1964). One of his political thrillers, Riot '71 (1967), posits a Near-Future racist crisis in an economically battered UK, which is described as a Dystopia in the making. [JC]
