Reedy, Trent

(?   -    ) US author of Young Adult novels, the third of which, Divided We Fall (2014), is set in a Near Future America riven by political (and eventually armed) conflicts between the left and right, with state and federal rights being contested on familiar ideological lines. The plot – whose protagonist is a member of the Idaho Army National Guard inadvertently plunged into the middle of what may become a genuine civil War – edges at points towards Military SF. Sequels are projected. [JC]
