Sackville, Orme

Probably the pseudonym of an unidentified UK author (?   -?   ) of several florid adventure novels, the first of which, The Curse of Amen-Tah (1933), may be of some interest. Of the remaining identified titles, all published in 1935, Jungle Goddess (1935) is of modest sf interest in its depiction of a female Tarzan who has been discovered in a remote African land; and The Island of Ghosts (1935) is set on a remote Pacific Island, where a Mad Scientist is disseminating a gas which maddens both men and animals.
