Wallace, Sean

(1976-    ) US anthologist, editor, and publisher, associated with Wildside Press and its imprint Cosmos Books as editor from 2001 to 2009; associated with Prime Books as publisher from 2001; associated with Clarkesworld as editor since 2006; associated with Fantasy Magazine as publisher from 2005 to 2011; and associated with Lightspeed as publisher from June 2010 until its takeover by John Joseph Adams in January 2012. Wallace has published many authors' first novels and/or collections, including those of Chris Beckett, K J Bishop, Simon Logan, Ben Peek, Charles Stross and Jeff VanderMeer; along with anthologies edited by John Joseph Adams, Ellen Datlow, Paula Guran, Rich Horton and Jonathan Strahan. His own Anthologies of sf interest include Realms: The First Year of Clarkesworld Magazine (anth 2008), Realms: The Second Year of Clarkesworld Magazine (anth 2009), both co-edited with Nick Mamatas. Wallace also co-edited the Fantasy anthology series opening with Fantasy Annual #1 (anth 1997), with Philip Harbottle. He won a World Fantasy Award in 2006, for editing Prime Books. [SWa/DRL]
