Title used for his fiction by UK author Bernard Edward Barnaby FitzPatrick (1848-1937); The Secret of the Lamas (1889), published anonymously, is an unremarkable Lost Race tale, set in a hidden City in Tibet whose savants are adepts at advanced Physics; the awkwardly couched tales in A Bundle of Lies (coll 1924) include a story about Atlantis rediscovered, and one in which civilization is threatened by a Yellow Peril.
