Centennius, Ralph
Entry updated 23 February 2026. Tagged: Author.
Pseudonym of the unidentified Canadian author (? -? ) of The Dominion in 1983 (1883 chap), which depicts a successful, country-spanning Utopia one century after what seems to have been an American Invasion of Canada which failed. The geographical vastness of the ideal society has been enabled by various innovations in Transportation, culminating in a universal use of "rocket-cars". The far north has been rendered clement, without any dependence upon Climate Change. Women are ignored, as are Francophones. [JC]
