Entry updated 12 September 2022. Tagged: Author, House name.
House Name used primarily by Michael Moorcock for book reviews and stories in New Worlds, and for one independent collection of stories: The Deep Fix (coll 1966), which led to the band name Michael Moorcock & The Deep Fix. The name was occasionally used by other contributors for book reviews. Eventually Moorcock reported Colvin's death in a spoof obituary (January 1970 New Worlds) as by William Barclay. Moorcock has also written at least one story as Warwick Colvin Jr, who is identified as James Colvin's nephew. [JC]
