Pseudonym of US author Autumn Beaudreault (1974- ), who has published nonfiction under her own name. The erotically interacting protagonists of the Spark romantic Space Opera sequence beginning with No Words Alone (2008) are translators for an interstellar corporation. Set on a Starship with a Mad Scientist in the wings, the Draconian sequence beginning with Ride the Stars (2010) is comparatively exuberant. The Convergence sequence beginning with Bramble Run (2015) hints at Equipoise – two parallel universes (see Parallel Worlds) converge, mashing two realities into a sort of balance – though it is perhaps easier to understand this lengthy Steampunkish series without undue consideration of provenances.
