(? - ) US author who began publishing work of genre interest with "Monsieur Mingle and Kris Kringle" in Naughty or Nice: A Holiday Anthology (anth 2015) edited by Jennifer Brozek. His first novel, Star Realms: Rescue Run (2016) is an adventure-oriented Space Opera tale with Military SF elements featuring a suddenly freelance female protagonist in need of a contract; a series may be intended. The Young Adult Adventures of Baron Von Monocle sequence, beginning with For Steam and Country (2017), conveys its protagonist – who has lost her father and must establish her own sense of warrior-like worth – through various Steampunk adventures in the land of Rislandia, which must be saved; armoured Airships are much in evidence. Make Science Fiction Fun Again (coll 2018) assembles short fiction not dissimilar to Del Arroz's longer work. [JC]
