Entry updated 12 September 2022. Tagged: Author.

(1952-    ) US author, active from the mid 1990s, perhaps best known for her nonfantastic Copper Black detective thriller series beginning with Getting Off On Frank Sinatra: A Copper Black Mystery (2017) [series is not listed below]. She began publishing work of genre interest with "Rubicon" in Mensa Journal for September 2015, which forms the basis for her first sf novel, A Coin for the Ferryman (2022), a Time Travel story in which Julius Caesar is kidnapped just before his assassination and becomes the subject of an experiment in 1999 Los Angeles (see California). The novel turns on whether this intervention will constitute a history-changing Jonbar Point if Caesar survives his return to the Ides of March. [JC]
