(? - ) US author who began to publish work of genre interest with "Approximation and Displacement" in Baffling Magazine for October 2022. Her first novel, Homebound (2026), is set in several eras: 1983 Cincinnati, in the midst of the decade when Climate Change began to be widely recognized; a Near Future world where an AI system designed to save the environment is subverted; a flooded Earth 600 years further into a troubled future; and, deeper into the future a Starship bound on an interstellar rescue mission. The novelty of the tale may lie in its lack of conspicuous novelty: known or expected crises in the history of Homo sapiens serve as shaping background to a series of lives, as lived, relived, interwoven, in a manner humanely evocative of David Mitchell's Cloud Atlas (2004).
