Entry updated 17 October 2022. Tagged: Author.

(?   -    ) Canadian advertising copywriter and author, active from around 2005, much of whose fiction is nonfantastic, including her first novel, The Proxy Bride (2013). She may have begun publishing work of genre interest only with "Let Slip the Sluicegates of War, Hydro-Girl" in Clockwork Canada: Steampunk Fiction (anth 2016) edited by Dominik Parisien (see Steampunk). The three storyteller protagonists of her first series, the Sputnik sequence beginning with Sputnik's Children (2017), roam the Multiverse, which seems to comprise an easy-to-access Archipelago of 2000 Alternate Worlds, each of which has been created as a consequence of a nuclear explosion on Earth, and many of which may have survived Pandemics. The three see their function as memorial, and make their living telling stories to bring worlds together, though some of them present radically transmogrified reality systems (see Alternate Cosmos; see also Humour).
