(1954- ) US author and critic who began to publish work of genre interest with "'Tasty Morsel'" in the Fanzine The Diversifier #13, March 1976, as Randall Larson; occasional tales in the weird fiction and Cthulhu Mythos subgenres have appeared ever since. Book-length works of genre relevance are the Cinema study Musique Fantastique: A Survey of Film Music in Fantastic Cinema (1985); three books on Robert Bloch beginning with the Starmont House title Robert Bloch (1986), followed by a Bibliography and a collection of Bloch Interviews [see Checklist below]; and the very substantial Films into Books: An Analytical Bibliography of Film Novelizations, Movie, and TV Tie-Ins (1995).
