(1930-2011) Canadian journalist and author, active from around 1955; his sf novel Zap Day (1971) is a very Near Future Technothriller in which the eponymous Holocaust is averted. Tomorry'Land (2010) presents a fantasticated version of Canadian history, with some passages derived gingerly from the toolkits of Fantastika. [JC]
