Joint pseudonym of UK authors Christopher Robin Nicole (1930-    ) and Diana Mary Bachmann Nicole (1950-    ) for several Technothrillers, beginning with The Red Death (1989), a tale set in the Near Future where a devastating Pandemic is sweeping the world; further titles, like Meltdown (1991) and Growth (1993), repeat the formula. Christopher Nicole alone wrote the Helier L'Eree sequence of supernatural horror tales beginning with Spawn of the Devil (1994) as by Caroline Gray. Alone he has also written several historical novels and series under various names, including Andrew York and Alan Savage; he also wrote The Falls of Death (2004) under his own name. [JC]
