(1939- ) US fan and bibliographer who began to publish work of genre interest with "Andre Norton: Why Has She Been Neglected?" in Riverside Quarterly for January 1970. He is perhaps of greatest importance for the compilation Science Fiction and Fantasy Pseudonyms (1971 chap; var revs to 1979) [see Checklist below], a useful guide to Pseudonyms. Teaching Tomorrow: A Handbook of Science Fiction for Teachers (1972) with Elizabeth Calkins is a SF in the Classroom text; An Index to Science Fiction Book Reviews in Astounding/Analog 1949-1969, Fantasy and Science Fiction 1949-1969, Galaxy 1950-1969 (1973 chap) with Dave Labick, Mike May, Ed Soloko and Milo Walsh was published under the auspices of the Science Fiction Research Association.
