(1968-2024) UK author also active in Fandom and Convention-running, most of whose professional work has consisted of Ties to the Doctor Who universe, beginning with Doctor Who: The New Adventures: White Darkness (1993); this novel was based on his unproduced 1989 script for a three-part Doctor Who storyline set in 1927 and featuring Horror in the H P Lovecraft mode, including a Zombie outbreak.
In the twenty-first century, McIntee began to supply Ties to other enterprises as well, beginning with a tale in the Star Trek: The Next Generation anthology The Sky's the Limit (anth 2007) edited by Marco Palmieri; a novel followed, Star Trek: The Next Generation: Indistinguishable from Magic (2011). Delta Quadrant: The Unofficial Guide to Voyager (2000) is a useful guide to the Star Trek: Voyager subdomain of the Star Trek universe. [JC/DRL]
