(? - ) Jamaican editor, poet and author of speculative fiction. She is best known as the Poetry acquiring editor for Fiyah (which see), an Online Magazine specializing in work from Black authors; she has held this position since 2020, the year of Fiyah's move from Semiprozine to Prozine and surge in popularity. Moore has also been the poetry editor for Solarpunk Magazine since 2024. She emphasizes a particular interest in poems that "demand" Utopia and instil a sense of yearning through depictions of the future or Alternate History.
Moore has predominantly written short fiction, beginning in 2009 with "Harlequin" for Purple Magazine #8. Her early stories, many of which appeared either in Chapbooks or in non-sf venues, were collected in Becoming (coll 2017). Kingdom of Lethe (2017 ebook) is a novelette in which a detective investigates stolen dreams (see Dream Hacking); Odes to the Multiverse (coll 2020) is described as punk sci fi. "Water Baby" (September 2024 F&SF) is a Climate Change-themed short story, perhaps influenced by her time as editor of Solarpunk poetry. [JM]
