(? - ) US author, editor and critic who published the Horror/dark fantasy Semiprozine Footsteps (9 issues, Summer 1983 to July 1990) from New York State. Among the contributors were Ramsey Campbell, Stephen King, Thomas F Monteleone, F Paul Wilson and (interview) Gahan Wilson; Footsteps included essays on the Pulps and other related subjects.
All Munster's book-length works are nonfiction studies of Dean Koontz: Sudden Fear: The Horror and Dark Suspense Fiction of Dean R. Koontz (1988) for Starmont House, Discovering Dean Koontz (1998; exp rev 2007) for Borgo Press, and the co-edited The Dean Koontz Companion (anth 1994) with Ed Gorman and Martin H Greenberg. [DRL]
