(? - ) Author – almost certainly UK, possibly pseudonymous – of the Children's SF novel Rocket to the Moon: A Story for Boys (1946). Set in Near Future Britain a few years after an unmentioned World War Two, the tale follows a young newspaper reporter's collaboration with Scientists who have invented a Power Source capable of sending the Rocket they have also invented to the Moon. The journalist helps bamboozle an international gang that has learnt of their success and has demanded with menaces to be sent the formula for the new fuel, so it can be sold to foreign corporations. After some excitement, the rocket departs on its successful journey (a diagram of its trajectory is supplied). [SP/JC]
