SF Digest
Entry updated 14 June 2021. Tagged: Publication.
UK small A4-size magazine. One undated issue, (June) 1976, published by New English Library; edited by Julie Davis. SF Digest was to have been a quarterly successor to Science Fiction Monthly, but was doomed even before its single issue appeared by the publisher's decision to concentrate on books rather than magazines. SF Digest's format was superior to that of the inconveniently oversized Science Fiction Monthly. It featured stories by Brian W Aldiss, Michael G Coney, Rachel Pollack and Robert Silverberg (a reprint), plus articles by John Brunner and others, and was less obviously slanted toward a juvenile market.
