(1943- ) US academic and author; with William Jon Watkins (whom see for details), he published two sf novels, Ecodeath (1972) as E V Snyder and The Litany of Sh'reev (1976). His solo works include Mind War (1980), The Ogden Enigma (1980) – in which the US military must deal with the fact that it has repressed all evidence that a UFO landed in 1950, a matter of urgency because the UFO now wants to go home – Dark Dreaming (1981), Tomb Seven (1985), a fantasy, and The Sigma Project (1988), a Near Future Technothriller.
