(1981- ) UK Comics writer and author, his work as writer in the former capacity including many 2000 AD and Judge Dredd scripts, plus scripts for other comics; his novel Prophet Margin (2006) is a Tie to the 2000 AD universe. Much of his prose fiction has comprised stories and novels for the Warhammer 40,000 Wargame universe, beginning with Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior (2003). His The Culled (2006) was the first published novel in the Post-Holocaust Shared World of The Afterblight Chronicles (see The Afterblight Chronicles). His contribution to the Shared World based on the Massively Multiplayer Online Game Elite Dangerous, is Elite: Nemorensis (2014). An sf Western, the distant Near-Future Six-Gun Gorilla (graph 2014) sets its Apes-As-Human gunslinger protagonist on Blister, a recently colonized planet, where exploitative corporations, looking for food sources, are resisted by harum-scarum locals.
