TV Chariot

Entry updated 4 April 2017. Tagged: Publication.

Letter-size saddle-stapled Television Fanzine printed on middle-grade paper. Published by T C Chariot Productions. Editor: Robert Cain. Assistant Editor: Maureen Cain. Twelve (?) issues, 1977 to 1979. Publication schedule was bimonthly.

Well-produced fanzine dedicated primarily to US sf Television programmes with some occasional film coverage. While most of the content focused on then-recent productions including Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (1979-1981) and Mork & Mindy (1978-1981), other articles looked at such programmes of the past as The Twilight Zone (1959-1964). Illustrations were all black and white. Occasionally, Comics pages from artist-author Fred Hembeck were laid in, along with special offers for various masks and plastic model kits spun off from assorted television series. TV Chariot was published from Arizona and distribution seems to have been largely confined to the western USA. [GSt].
