Utopia Science Fiction Magazine is known for its variety, publishing engaging sf, Fantasy and genre Poetry, as well as essays and interviews; there are also associated podcasts. Featured authors with entries in this encyclopedia include Beth Cato. P Djèlí Clark, John Clute, Samuel R Delany, James Gurney, Joe Haldeman, Jeff Noon, and Steven Youll are among the interviewees.
Though the magazine is generally published digitally, two print editions have been released. 5th Anniversary Anthology (anth 2023) featured reprints of notable stories and poems from previous issues with cover art by Donato Giancola. Special Art Issue (anth 2023) featured themed stories and poems as well as numerous original artworks, including the cover art by Don Davis. [JM]
