(1953- ) US editor and author who began to publish work of genre interest with "The Gift" in the Darkover Shared World Fanzine Starstone #2 for June 1978, her first professional sale being "Death's Scepter" in Four Moons of Darkover (anth 1988) edited by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Much of her subsequent work has been Fantasy, some for younger readers. She is of greater sf interest for her five original Ties to the Television series Thunderbirds (1965-1966) beginning with Thunderbirds: Countdown to Action (2008). She has contributed a nonfiction title to the Star Trek universe, Boldly Writing: A Trekker Fan and Zine History (1997; rev 2003). A later straight sf novel is Modern Surprises (2016). [JC/DRL]
