(? - ) US author, editor, stage playwright and nurse, daughter of Sharon Webb, who began to publish work of genre interest with "Law of Averages" in Shadows 10 (anth 1987) edited by Charles Grant; several further anthology appearances followed. The titular investigator of offbeat crimes in her Beluga Stein mysteries, opening with Last Resort (2003), is aided both by her own erratic psychic ability (see Psi Powers) and by that of her more gifted Cat familiar, Planchette. Other novels are Eye of the Gargoyle (2020), a mystery-cum-travelogue with metaphysical overtones, and the romantic Fantasy Widow's Walk (2020).
Webb has also co-edited anthologies including the Phobias diptych comprising Phobias: Stories of Your Deepest Fears (anth 1994) and More Phobias: Stories of Unparalleled Paranoia! (anth 1995), both with Richard Gilliam, Martin H Greenberg and Edward E Kramer. [DRL]
