(?   -    ) US mathematician, editor and author, active professionally from around 2010; associate editor of Mathematical Reviews, American Mathematical Society from 2016. She began to publish work of genre interest with "Ten Percent for Luck" in 2018 (magazine publication not traced), a tale incorporated into North Continent Ribbon: Stories (coll of linked stories 2024). Within a Planetary Romance setting – a world whose complex indigenous culture is under constant challenge from the Space Opera universe beyond – an Equipoisal world is lovingly anatomized, Gender issues are spaciously unpacked, and human concourse is understood as braided (like the stories here assembled) into a nearly inexpressible concord of contracts. What is immeasurable cannot, however, be perceived by suddenly introduced AIs, who must be instructed in what software cannot learn. [JC]
