(? -? ) UK author, possibly pseudonymous, of boys' stories, those of most sf interest being Lord of the Lonely Isle (1940), a Lost Race tale set on a mysterious Island in the South Pacific, whose previously undiscovered inhabitants include the descendants of pirates, and a race of giant apes; and The Secret Treasure (1947), which locates its mild-mannered Lost Race, descended from Incas, in Peru.
