(1966- ) US teacher and author, mostly of horror and fantasy, though his first series, the Coronam sequence beginning with Of King, Queens & Colonies (2021), is a Space Opera epic set in a period of interstellar hiatus some centuries after the destruction of Old Earth; a Feminist subtext – the enthroning of a woman in a Planetary Romance context – can be detected, within a larger frame involving First Contact and considerable action.
Fresh Start (2026), a singleton set in a similar interstellar frame, follows its protagonist, in a time of galactic chaos, to a Prison planet in search of a father figure from his path, solace in Religion (which fails to deliver), and other adventures adding up something like a Fantastic Voyage.
