House Name associated with the television Tie magazines The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and The Girl from U.N.C.L.E., spinoffs from The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964-1968) and The Girl from U.N.C.L.E. (1966-1967) respectively. Both magazines ran novella-length lead "novels" about the series stars, never republished in book form. Authors with entries in this encyclopedia who used the Davis house name are Richard A Curtis, Denis Lynds, John Jakes, Frank Belknap Long, Bill Pronzini and Harry Whittington. [DRL]
