(?   -    ) UK author, editor and publisher who began to publish work of genre interest with "No Place Like Home" in the unofficial Doctor Who-related Original Anthology Shelf Life (anth 2008) edited by Julian Eales, David A McIntee and Adrian Middleton. In 2008 he founded the Edinburgh-based Obverse Books (which see) to publish Doctor Who spinoffs beginning with tales of the initially Who-rooted but soon independent character Iris Wildthyme in such anthologies as Iris Wildthyme and the Celestial Omnibus (anth 2009) with Paul Magrs [for further titles see Checklist below]. The original anthology Zenith Lives! (anth 2012) assembles new stories about Zenith the Albino, created by Anthony Skene; contributors include Douglas himself and Michael Moorcock.

Douglas has also written two Sherlock Holmes novel ties, The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Albino's Treasure (2015) and The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Counterfeit Detective (2016). [DRL]
