Entry updated 12 September 2022. Tagged: Author.

(1958-    ) US lawyer and author whose novels are mostly Technothrillers, though his first, Arc Light (1994), depicts the full-blown onset of World War Three as nuclear conflict between Russia and China rapidly escalates, and America becomes involved in an Asian land war. Society of the Mind: A Cyberthriller (1996) describes "knowledge" as a self-replicating virus, by virtue of which Computers may turn into AIs and rule the world.
