Pseudonym of US author Cindy Hudnall Holby (1956- ), who also writes as by Kassy Taylor, all the romances under her own name and as by Taylor being nonfantastic. Hodge is of sf interest for the Oasis sequence beginning with Stargazer (2005), most of the action being inspired in Planetary Romance fashion by its protagonists' relationship to their complexly engaging home planet. Twist (2008), a singleton, is fantasy. [JC]
