(? - ) Canadian author whose Alternate World Midnight Games sequence beginning with The Midnight Games (2015) treats Hamilton, Ontario as a city under the sway of a church dedicated to bringing back the Ancient Gods who once ruled Earth (see Cthulhu Mythos; H P Lovecraft; Horror in SF). Having intruded upon unwholesome ceremonies, the protagonist of the series must flee, hitching en passant a ride on a Steampunk Airship, and eventually travelling into interstellar space. On his return, he finds Hamilton controlled by an Alien species. Resistance wins the day. [JC]
