(1967- ) US author who began publishing work of genre interest with "WebMage" for Weird Tales in Fall 1999, a tale which was expanded into Webmage (2006), the first of the Equipoisal WebMage sequence which continues with Cybermancy (2007), CodeSpell (2008) and MythOS (2009). The sequence – set in a kind of Parallel World where the Gods have replaced an overwhelmed Web of Fate with Computer programme capable of accessing magic – combines Cyberpunk and some of the routines of contemporary paranormal-romance urban fantasy. His only singleton, the Young Adult Chronicles of the Wandering Star (coll of linked stories 2006 chap), published as part of an interactive teaching venture, subjects four Aliens of various races to various challenges on and off Earth; they gain knowledge and competence.
